Organic sulphur is required for cartilage, tendons, conjunctivae, muscles, bones and coat, so the horse needs organic sulphur to remain fit and vital.

Sulphur is a building block for the body's joint surfaces, cartilage and connective tissues, among other things. It is essential for proper enzyme and endocrine function and for the immune system. In other words, sulphur is needed throughout the body.

Icelandic horses are used to sulphur-rich soils in their natural environment, which means that they especially need a sulphur supplement in their feed.

The body's collagen production needs sulphur to function, especially to support the ageing body. Sulphur supplementation is necessary to help the body to protect itself from muscle injury and to recover normally.

Recommended use:

1- 5 tbsp/day for a 500kg horse. 1 tbsp = 10 g. (maximum dose 2g/day/ kg body weight, please note that sulphur is also present in small amounts in feeds).
