What kind of Mash should you choose for your horse? At Amequ By Dangro we have three different mash products to choose from. But which mash is best for your horse? The three Mash products of the Amequ series have in common that they are all low in sugar and starch and rich in soluble fiber. No vitamins and minerals have been added to the mash products either. We have decided to avoid this so that the products do not interfere with the horse's original feeding plan and you can therefore give Mash better as needed. MetaMash Metamash is our lowest-energy Mash feed. It has the least energy, protein, fat, sugar and starch. Metamash is also completely free of alfalfa, grains, molasses, yeast and grain products. MetaMash's wide spectrum of active ingredients of herbs and oils can have a positive effect on the entire metabolism and digestion. Omega-3 UrteMash YrttiMash is a really good versatile mash feed, at a really affordable price! This product is the first mash we made for the Amequ range and it has been a huge hit in the Nordic stables. Mash feed is suitable even for demanding horses, and it is a perfect whole for larger groups of horses. The content of both Maxi Rice, LinOcrunch, wheat bran and corn bioflakes makes Urtemashi also suitable for filling energy stores after training, and electrolytes can be conveniently distributed as needed. The fibers contained in the product come from grass, beetroot, alfalfa and flaxseed, all of which help to ensure that the horse's digestion works optimally. Herbal mash can be soaked in both hot and cold water, where one part mash is mixed with two parts water. However, it is advantageous to accustom the horse to larger amounts of water to increase the intake of liquid to be mixed. We recommend that Urtemash is given at 50-200 g/100 kg of body weight. Smaller amounts can also be used for thrifty horses. Omega-3 AfterWork Mash AfterWork Mash is made especially for active horses. So the purpose of the product is that you can use it after training or competition to supplement the horse's energy reserves, electrolyte balance and fluid balance. Since horses are often exposed to many stress factors during competition and hard training that can affect their appetite, we have invested heavily in the taste of this product and the feedback from the test horses has been really positive. This product is guaranteed to taste good! Soak one part mash in two parts water. However, it is advantageous for the horse to get used to a larger amount of water in the product in order to increase the fluid intake. We recommend giving the product 100-200g per 100kg horse. For a thrifty breed or those with little sweating, lower amounts may also be beneficial. Bucket or sack All three mash products are available in both 15 kg sacks and 5 kg buckets. The bucket version is good to take to competitions, but also an advantage if you don't use as much mash or if you use, for example, more than one Mash feed. For example, some people like to use Metamash as a small pre-workout meal to create a fiber-rich buoyant layer in the stomach, and then offer Afterwork Mash after the workout to replenish energy and electrolyte stores. In these cases, with several products according to different needs, the quantity is adjusted downwards so that the horse does not get too much feed. Why is Mash given at all? There are countless benefits to using mashrehu in its feed, and it's certainly not just for racehorses. Below I have listed a number of the most common reasons why you can use mash for your horse. -Prize. -Hide medications or supplements. -Increase fluid intake. -Cool a hot horse. - Warm up a cold horse. -Increases energy allocation. -Distributes extra fiber and omega-3 fatty acids. - If the chewing activity has weakened. -To optimize digestion. -In the prevention of gastric ulcer.
