Special composition
Nordic Lite muesli is specially designed for horses that are thrifty and/or have a sensitive digestive system.

Omega-3
Thrifty horses need healthy omega-3 fatty acids - even when they need to lose weight. Omega-3 increases the breakdown of fat deposits and accelerates metabolic processes. Omega-3 fatty acids are also needed for the correct transport of hormones. In particular, prostaglandins like homonins, which are needed for optimal burning of both fat and sugar.

Iron and magnesium
Nordic Lite has a very low iron content because it is believed to be a direct link between insulin resistance and excessive iron intake. Nordic Lite has a very high magnesium content as it is also believed that there is a link between magnesium deficiency and insulin resistance. It has been observed that horses with external signs of insulin resistance, such as fat deposits on the neck, tail and back of the shoulders, lose the external signs of IR within a few weeks of starting magnesium supplementation.

Best formulation for horses with sensitive digestion
Nordic Lite is made without ingredients known to cause problems for horses with sensitive digestion or feed intolerance. No fillers, alfalfa, soy, brewer's yeast, molasses, preservatives, GMOs, flavour enhancers or similar.


100% RawFood = high absorption
The raw materials used in Nordic Lite mills are carefully selected and processed as little as possible. Everything is 100% RawFood, which means that none of the raw materials are heated above 42 degrees. Heating changes the chemical composition of the raw materials, thus reducing their nutritional value.

Storage and stability:
Since Nordic Horse products are 100% natural and without additives, proper storage is important for shelf life. Nordic Lite should be stored in a dry, cool place out of direct sunlight - preferably in a sealed container.

Preferably avoid that the feed is kept in the stable for a long time before use.
