Give your horse free access to natural, clean and tasty sea salt combined with magnesium and zeolite.

On spring and autumn grasses, horses often lack magnesium, because the grass usually grows explosively during these seasons and the increased potassium and sugar content of the grass prevents the absorption of magnesium. It is assumed that the horse's magnesium intake can be halved during these seasons. You cannot reduce the effect of potassium, on the contrary; it can be enhanced if there is a simultaneous lack of sodium. That's why we recommend giving horses salt with added magnesium in spring and autumn.

In addition to magnesium, Nordic Sea Salt Block - Mag & Detox also contains zeolite, which has a mild cleansing effect on the gastrointestinal tract.

Salt rock is optimal for all horses because all horses need salt - regardless of whether they are trained or not.

Horses that are trained hard or that sweat a lot have a higher salt requirement than horses that are lightly trained. For these horses, we recommend supplementing rock salt in the feed as loose salt.

NOTE: Nordic Sea Salt Block should NOT be added to other vitamins and minerals that may cause an imbalance in the horse's feeding plan.
