Nordic hemp seed oil is cold-pressed oil from hemp seeds. The special thing about hemp seed oil is that it contains ALL the essential fatty acids, and what really sets hemp seed oil apart from other vegetable oils is the GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) content. GLA is a polyunsaturated fatty acid that the body can form itself from linolenic acid (LA). However, it can be seen that the conversion to GLA often decreases e.g. hard training, metabolic issues, aging, etc., and so there may be an advantage to targeting it through feed. GLA deficiency can be seen e.g. as a concomitant phenomenon of obesity and insulin resistance.

Nordic Horse feeding instructions:
5-10 ml / 100 kg of horse per day, divided into at least 2 meals to achieve an optimal effect (must not exceed 1/3 of the total amount fed to the manger)

100% cold-pressed hemp seed oil (THC-free)
Fatty acid composition per 100 g:
· Linoleic acid (Omega-6) 50 g
· α-linolenic acid (omega-3) up to 25 g
· Oleic acid (omega-9) 10-15 g
· Γ-linolenic acid (GLA) up to 4 g
