    FORTINUT BLACK OAT FLAKES (Avena sativa) St. John's wort is an old domestic oat variety produced on the farm - a country species. A tasty and easily digestible flake of black oats ensures your horse's energy supply. Our black oats are not a new mutation of yellow oats that is grown in Europe but an old Finnish country variety. It is a great source of energy and protein for the horse. Oats have a higher protein and lysine content than other cereals. In addition, it is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are good for a horse’s skin and hair. The starch in oats is finer than in other cereals. Therefore, it melts in the small intestine better than other grains. Black oats are also well suited for horses for which ordinary yellow oats are not suitable. Black oats are an excellent product for enriching muesli and mash feeds. Recommended use: 0.2-4kg per day according to energy needs. Contents: Flaked black oats. Contains whole seed. Excellent microbiological quality: DON <0.5. Hectolitre weight 62 kg.
