Mycofix® contains a unique combination of certain patented enzymes and biological components that deactivate undesirable substances in the horse's intestine. In addition, Mycofix contains specially selected plant and algae extracts that protect and restore the horse's liver and intestinal health. Mycofix does not bind nutrients from the intestine, so it can be used without problems for long periods without causing imbalances.
Above all, Jerusalem artichoke has a strong prebiotic effect in the form of inulin, which strengthens the conditions for good bacteria in the horse's large intestine. This improves the horse's feed intake and thus the absorption of food and nutrients. In addition, Jerusalem artichokes contain high levels of vitamin C, which strengthens the horse's immune system and supports good horse defences against external influences.
The prebiotic effect of artichoke inulin ensures optimal elimination of inappropriate bacteria and fungal spores.
The milk extract is rich in bioavailable flavanoids, silymarin, which supports liver function and enhances slag excretion. Milk extract is a good nutritional supplement for horses that need to cleanse the body, and support the liver.
Seaweed supplies the horse's body with powerful nutrients and minerals that can be useful during and after periods when the horse's gut has been unbalanced and therefore has not absorbed enough electrolytes.
Beetroot is a unique source of beta-carotene with powerful antioxidant and detoxifying properties. Beetroot helps to cleanse and protect the liver.
Sea buckthorn is rich in antioxidants, mainly due to its high vitamin C content. Sea buckthorn contains vitamin C, which helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
Above all, thorns strengthen the horse's hooves and reinforce the lamellae of the hooves to bind more tightly together under pressure. Silica supports a healthy immune system against infections from the horse's environment.
Artichoke reduces swelling and curbs appetite. Artichoke contains a high proportion of bitter substances known as kynaropicrins, which act to stimulate gastric acid production, increase the horse's peristaltic movements and improve digestion of even the most indigestible foods. Promotes the breakdown of fat, especially inappropriate fat deposits such as those on the neck and over the base of the tail. The main biologically active ingredient in artichoke is cyarin. Cynarin supports healthy liver function.
Cynarin has a strong antioxidant effect and reduces the breakdown of the horse's own cells. Hawthorn also contains active substances that support healthy slag removal from the blood.
Nettle is rich in iron, protein, chlorophyll, vitamin C, sodium, potassium, histamine, serotonin, flavonoids and silicon. Nettle supports healthy digestion and elimination of waste products. Nettle also supports the horse's fluid, salt and pH balance.
Dandelion root is one of the best known phytonutrient plants that support healthy liver function in the removal of waste products. In addition, dandelion root urinates without the horse reaching a potassium deficiency, and the kidneys drain waste products from the body, which are also strengthened by the active substances in dandelion root. Toxins (and uric acid) are cleared from the bloodstream more quickly with the pee.
