    SAGE (Salvia officinalis) Sage reduces sweating and mucus and milk secretion, and is therefore suitable for mares that stop breastfeeding and to support the recovery of a very congested horse. Sage is also recommended for horses suffering from heat symptoms. Sage is known for its blood sugar-balancing properties. The plant is also an excellent supplement for horses suffering from inflammatory bowel disorders and for horses with loose manure or liquid manure. Use sage in small doses, not for continuous use. Not for pregnant mares. Recommended use: 5-15g per day. 1dl = approx. 10g.
