Psyllium CocoCrunch is a tasty, pelletised feed supplement that optimises your horse's digestion and prevents sand accumulation in the intestines. Psyllium CocoCrunch contains psyllium seeds with a unique blend of coconut, plant extracts, herbs, spices and essential oils that improve the intestinal bacterial flora. Psyllium seeds have long been known for their stomach and intestinal benefits. They balance the stomach and intestines and form a thick gel that binds and removes sand from the intestines. Psyllium CocoCrunch is also ideal for horses with loose stomachs or overweight and metabolic problems, as its fermented psyllium increases the production of butyrate in the gut, which in turn supports gut health. Studies have shown that butyrate lowers blood glucose levels, increases insulin sensitivity and supports normal gut microflora. Therefore psyllium can be used to control blood glucose and insulin levels and is very suitable for overweight and insulin resistant horses. Ingredients: psyllium seed husk, coconut fibre, Digestarom. Dosage: 20 g/100 kg. Sand cleaning: use 10 days per month. Blood glucose regulator: use daily if necessary.
