Kieselgold consists mainly of silicic acid, which is a primordial natural product of the sea, which has been formed over millions of years. It is used as a natural source of silicon. Silicon is an important building material in tendons, bones and hooves.
Silicic acid contains a lot of silicon – a trace element found in the body mainly in connective tissue cells in the skin, hair and cartilage – and which is largely responsible for structure and firmness.

The body is not able to produce silicon by itself, which must therefore be given through feeding. Thanks to the large surface area of buttermilk, impurities also bind and are excreted from the intestines. In addition, Kieselgold contains isomaltulose, turmeric and high-quality vegetable oils. As a prebiotic, isomaltulose supports the intestinal microbiome and improves taste and texture. Turmeric stimulates the appetite, naturally extends the shelf life and improves the absorption of micronutrients and thus the bioavailability. The oil mixture ensures a silky shine.
