Nordic ICE Delight can be used for all horse breeds with a tendency to accumulate fat and for overweight horses. The horse is fed a diet rich in a variety of fibres and amino acids. The high proportion of herbs serves the horse's metabolism, skin, liver and digestion.

Special composition
Nordic ICE Delight is specially formulated for Icelandic, thrifty breeds and/or horses with sensitive digestion.

Specifically for Icelandic cattle
Nordic ICE Delight is enriched with extra sulphur from MSM and seaweed to maintain a healthy coat and strong hooves. The harness content is adapted to the Icelandic horse breed and is suitable for horses imported from Iceland as well as horses bred in Denmark.

Focus on metabolism
Nordic ICE Delight is characterised by an absolutely low cover dose of only 75g per 100kg horse per day. so an Icelandic horse weighing 350 kg only needs 263 g per day to be covered! Low calorie content, only 0.55 FE, 3.0% starch and 2.8% sugar.

Amino acids
Nordic ICE Delight has added a wide range of amino acids from asparagus, lupins, flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, grasses, peas and spirulina. This ensures high absorption and utilisation, providing good building blocks for muscles, hooves, skin and coat.

Herbs
Nordic ICE Delight provides horse nettle, dandelion root, milk thistle, sea buckthorn and rosemary for good liver function, optimum metabolism and a rich source of antioxidants.

Omega-3
Thrifty horses need healthy omega-3 fatty acids - even if they need to lose weight. Omega-3 increases the breakdown of fat deposits and speeds up metabolism. Omega-3 fatty acids are also needed for the correct transport of hormones. In particular, hormone-like prostaglandins, which are needed for optimal burning of both fat and sugar. Omega-3 fatty acids also ensure optimal quality of skin, coat and hooves, and support the horse's immune system and respiratory system.

Iron and magnesium
Nordic ICE Delight has a very low iron content because it is believed that there is a direct link between insulin resistance and excessive iron consumption. Nordic ICE Delight has a very high magnesium content, as it is also believed that there is a link between magnesium deficiency and insulin resistance. It has been observed that horses with external signs of insulin resistance, such as fat deposits on the neck, tail root and back of the shoulders, lose the external signs of IR within a few weeks of starting magnesium supplementation.

Storage and shelf life:
Because Nordic Horse products are 100% natural and preservative-free, proper storage is important for shelf life. Nordic ICE Delight should be stored in a dry, cool place out of direct sunlight - preferably in a sealed container.

Preferably avoid that the feed is left to lie in the stable for a long time before use.
