    Liposomal encapsulation improves bioavailability

The St. Hippolytin® LIQUIDs range provides essential trace elements and other nutrients encapsulated in liposomes, enhancing their protected transport to their destination in the body.

The nanodispersion is used to produce a liquid product, a nanoemulsion of stable liposomes encapsulated with nutrients.

This pre-treatment increases the effectiveness of each micronutrient, as both its bioavailability and absorption rate are thus multiplied.

Deficiencies of individual nutrients may manifest themselves as follows:

    Zinc
Skin, coat, hoof and fertility challenges, loss of skin and mucous membrane barrier, loss of appetite, growth disturbances, slow wound healing, insulin deficiency

    Determination of nutrient deficiencies
The veterinarian can determine the nutrient deficiency status by a blood test. Some nutrient deficiencies can be determined by hair analysis, others by trained eyes alone.

Nutrient deficiencies manifest themselves in their early stages in the following ways:
    -changes in coat and skin
    -changes in hoof structure
    -muscle tension
    -reduced enjoyment of movement
    -changes in mood
    -digestive challenges

Deficiencies in one or more nutrients can interfere with and delay a horse's recovery.

    Typical nutritional challenges:
    -insect bites and stings
    -delayed recovery from injuries
    -fertility
    -hooves
-muscles, including acid build-up during work performance
    -digestion
    -skin and coat
    -metabolism

In addition to their structural functions, minerals and essential trace elements are required for the functioning of the enzyme system. Disturbances in enzyme function lead to metabolic challenges, which can manifest themselves in very different symptoms depending on the individual.

Nutrient deficiencies worsen gradually and often go undetected for a long time. Long-term nutrient deficiencies can cause challenging conditions.

    Feeding

The duration of use depends on the nutrient and its deficiency. For example, while it can take months to years to compensate for a zinc deficiency, selenium deficiencies can usually be treated within a few weeks.

Horses with trace element deficiencies should be fed a feed with a specific trace element content, such as Hesta Mix®, Struktur-E® or NaturMüsli SENIOR.

    Dosage:

Approx. 3,5 g per 100 kg live weight daily with normal feeding or administered by gavage. Recommended period of use approx. 8 weeks.
Dietary food supplement for horses - Promotion of hoof, coat and skin regeneration
Withdrawal period for sport horses: 96 hours.
