Hesta Mix is particularly suitable for special breeds, horses with moderate energy needs and horses with special requirements in terms of mineral and nutrient intake. The tasty Hesta Mix Muesli is ideal for training horses that need extra energy to maintain performance and muscle strength. The vitamins and minerals in the product are of high quality, natural, organic and adapted to Nordic conditions.

Deficiencies can manifest themselves in many different ways
Many horses need only a very small amount of concentrate to meet their energy needs. As a result, the intake of vital nutrients and structural elements may be too low. This leads to deficiency symptoms, which can be very diverse, such as nervousness, restlessness, malabsorption, weight loss, metabolic problems and hormonal disturbances.

Particularly high levels of trace elements
Hesta Mix products contain a particularly high concentration of vital nutrients and micronutrients in a highly bio-absorbable form. Even low concentrate rations can ensure a sufficient intake of organic and therefore well absorbed trace elements. The efficient absorption of nutrients from the intestine and their rapid transport to the organs that need them enables rapid and effective assistance in preventing and correcting deficiencies.

Hesta Mix Pellets
Unrivalled cold-pressed Hesta Mix pellets contain high levels of fibre, herbs and essential amino acids and fatty acids. Especially suitable for training horses for muscle building and long-term energy consumption during which lactic acid production is reduced. Also suitable for horses that need to develop their muscular strength or obesity without additional energy from sugar and starch.
The natural and organic vitamins and minerals are of high quality and the composition has been formulated with particular attention to support optimal muscle and metabolic function.

A success story
The special breeds feed trial, which started at the Hesta Borg stud farm in 1998, has given rise to one of the most successful St. Hippolyt feed concepts
for horses of all breeds:
Hesta Mix
In Icelandic horses, for example, a link between nutrient deficiencies and sensitive skin and poor immunity was demonstrated. The finding had groundbreaking implications for the importance of optimising total feed intake.

Dosage:
150-250 g per 100 kg live weight daily.

The above amounts cover the mineral requirements of the horse, so there is no need for additional mineral supplementation. If the daily dose is lower than the recommended dose, it should be supplemented with Gemüse-Kräuter-Mineralien Nordic to ensure that the horse receives the necessary amount of minerals.

NOTE: This supplementary feed contains higher than normal concentrations of vitamins and trace elements and should therefore not cover more than 27,8 % of the horse's daily ration (including hay). Follow the feeding recommendation.
