Durable and tooth-friendly small mesh slowfeed hay net. Our hay nets are soft on the teeth and do not have tooth-wearing knots.

Slowfeed hay nets are high quality and durable - very strong, very high breaking strength (350 kg) and 100% Eco - Tex 100 quality.

At Nordic Horse, we believe that slowfeeding can improve a horse's well-being by supporting a natural feeding rhythm and behaviour that mimics natural grazing. With slow feeding, the horse eats smaller amounts over a longer period of time and even thrifty horses (with the right energy roughage) can be fed hay almost around the clock, minimising the risk of digestive upsets.

Nordic Slowfeeder hay netting is soft and knot-free, so it is gentle on the horse's teeth and gums.

The maximum amount of hay that can be applied is 3-4kg. Suitable for small horse breeds that eat small amounts of hay.

Medium stitches:3 x 3cm stitches, cord thickness 4mm (holes are 2,5x2,5cm)

Large stitches:4,5 x 4,5 cm stitches, cord thickness 5mm (holes are 4x4 cm)

Handy hay net closure clips and safety rubber bands available as accessories.

NOTE! For very greedy horses we recommend the largest 4,5x4,5 mesh size which will withstand the handling of a very greedy horse
