The nutritious and versatile dandelion is an excellent dehydrator, as it has a wide range of effects on the liver, kidneys and skin. The plant strengthens and refreshes the body. In addition, it promotes digestion, cleanses the body and reduces skin itching. The glycosides, apigenin and luteolin contained in dandelion leaves are effective in increasing urinary excretion. The same effect is exerted by the high potassium content of the plant. Dandelion contains e.g. vitamins a, b and c, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, fructose, resins, pectin and phenolic acid. For best results, give your horse dandelion as a cure. Dosage: 5-15 g / day (1dl = approx. 10g) moistened and preferably mixed with other feed. Store dry and protected from light.
