Althearod (400g) Nordic

Althearod is most often used to soothe and protect irritated mucous membranes.

Protects mucous membranes in both the stomach and intestines
Relieves soreness and (intestinal) irritation
Supports healthy intestinal cells and forms a protective layer that facilitates the healing of the underlying tissue.
Supports the horse's well-being and thus helps the horse to increase feed intake and return to normal behavior faster.

Contents:
100% Althearod, gently dried.

Feeding instructions:
5-10 g per 100 kg horse per day

Can be fed dry or made as an infusion (cold tea). Using cold infusion, the mucilaginous polysaccharides of Althearod are mainly extracted, which increases the health benefits. The tea is made from 1 dl of cold water per 10 g of Althearod - should be soaked in the refrigerator for min. 6 hours or e.g. overnight.

Both the tea and the soaked Althearod are poured over the horse's remaining feed shortly before feeding.

Divided into 2-3 feedings per day, and feeding min. ½ hour before the medicine, because it can otherwise weaken the absorption of the medicine.

There are no official guidelines for the use of Althearod in pregnant and lactating mares. As a precaution, we therefore recommend that the product not be used on these horses.
