    A salt block stone is optimal for all horses because all horses need salt - regardless of whether they are trained or not.

    Horses that are trained hard or that sweat a lot have a greater need for maintenance and light exercise than horses. For these horses, we recommend supplementing rock salt with loose salt in the feed.

    NOTE: Nordic Sea Salt Block has NO added vitamins and minerals that may cause an imbalance in the rest of the feeding plan.
