A combination of more than 60 different grasses and herbs provides a rich source of vital nutrients and crude fibre. Wiesenflakes are artificially dried, dust and mould free.
The high crude fibre content increases saliva secretion and promotes the digestion of concentrate. Also extends the eating time!

Uses:
-basic feed (instead of 100% hay)
-supplementing hay, silage or grazing
-instead of concentrates
-difficulties in utilising conventional raw fibre, e.g. in the absence of teeth
-if dust and mould from roughage cause respiratory problems
-weight loss in older horses
-stimulation of drinking
-administration of medicines
Dosing:
-basic feed (instead of 100% hay): daily approx. 1,5 kg / target weight 100 kg
-instead of concentrate: 1,2 kg corresponds to approx. 1 kg of cereals
-as a supplement to the basic feed: 1 kg is equivalent to 1 kg of hay
-to be used gradually
-1 kg swollen in 1,5-3 litres of water
-Wetting or soaking the feed before feeding is generally recommended for greedy, older horses and horses with dental problems.
