Olli Winter tape 40mm- Shockteq

Winter tape is made of durable Olli Shockteq quality, suitable for year-round and long-term, permanent fencing. Tape width 40 mm.

Olli's green and white winter tape has two separate wire bundles, one for shock and one for ground. The bundle of wires in the white part of the tape, marked in red, is electrified by connecting it to the shepherd's shock button marked with a lightning bolt and the bundle of wires in the green part of the tape is connected to the shepherd's earthing button. The animal is shocked when it touches both bundles at the same time.

Tip! The winter strip is a good option not only for winter fencing, but also for dry or rocky fencing conditions: the winter strip has a separate return path for the electricity to the shepherd, so a winter strip fence will work even if the contact from the animal to the ground is blocked by snow or if the ground is very dry or rocky. Tip! Winterstrip fencing works well without a grounding bar when in good condition. However, we always recommend using ground rods, because then the fence will also work like a traditional fence if necessary (e.g. if the animal only touches one side of the strip or if the grounding path in the strip is interrupted, for example at a strip extension or a gate).
