  • Product Description
Handlebar for connecting a curtain rail to a fence rail. Stainless steel. To be used with Olli 40 mm strap connector.

The handle is used to connect a wide fence strip to a curtain rail so that the fence strip stays straight and does not wrinkle. A crumpled or knotted fence tape can cause sparks, which over time can burn through the conductive metal parts of the tape.

The handlebar is also suitable for use with winter fencing tape. However, remember the instructions for connecting the winter strip: cut and remove the metal conductors in the green part of the winter strip (= earth/return) at the gates about 3 cm before the metal connectors, so that the metal connector does not short-circuit the shock and earth bundles of the winter strip. If this happens, the fence will not work. Note! Do not cut the plastic strip to avoid damaging the durability of the strip.

For more advice on how to build a working winter strip fence, read Olli's blog, Winter strip fencing, full of pain or blissful bliss, and Olli's winter fencing guide.
