Versatile fenugreek is a protein-rich plant that invigorates and speeds up recovery. It supports stomach function as its mucilage forms a protective membrane in the intestines. Fenugreek seeds may be helpful in treating inflammatory bowel disease and are used as a nutritional support for peptic ulcers, for example, alongside medication. Fenugreek is also good for horse hooves and hair.
It also relieves constipation. The plant may also be helpful in losing weight as it makes you feel full. Fortifying fenugreek increases milk production, so it is well suited to the diet of a lactating mare. The plant is not recommended for pregnant mares as it stimulates the uterus.
Dosage: 20-30 g/day. 1dl= approx.80g
