In the summer, floating pieces block the sun, which means much less algae in your water tank - and much less cleaning for you! In winter, the water stays frozen for longer because the floating bodies keep the surface immobile and keep the "heat" in the water. There is still ice on the surface for a while, but the floating pieces help create a surface that breaks easily. Hexa-Cover® floating tiles are an environmentally friendly food-grade solution made from recycled plastic without the use of freon or other harmful substances. They have a long life (expected 20 years) Starter kit with 10 floating pieces suitable for those receiving about 90 liters.
