GlyxWiese® BIO Lucernecobs
GlyxWiese® BIO Alfalfa Cobs are made from 100% organic alfalfa. This product is suitable for all types of horses, especially sport horses, and is a good source of protein for them.

Alfalfa cobs also provide a balanced calcium/phosphorus ratio in a grain-rich diet, due to the high calcium content of alfalfa.

The optimised fibre content of Glyx Wiese® BIO Lucernecobs makes it particularly suitable for horses with challenges to the stomach lining. The good nutrients and amino acids in alfalfa are also beneficial for hobby horses as well as for senior horses that have experienced hardship.

General information about GlyxWiese® BIO
Carefully selected raw materials such as green oats, alfalfa, sainfoin, serradella and forage alfalfa can be used as a high quality roughage or as a high fibre supplement in grain-based diets. By avoiding grains and additives, as well as various mixtures of individual components, we ensure that GlyxWiese® BIO products are suitable for all types of horses.

Versatile use
Hygienically high quality roughage is not only the basis of a normal horse feed, but also works as an excellent supplement to any roughage. Sport horses, hobby horses, breeding horses, young horses, older horses and stabled horses - all need high quality roughage.


A model of sustainability
The ingredients of GlyxWiese® BIO products are sourced from extensive agricultural areas in Slovakia. Many hectares of large arable and forest areas are cultivated with high-quality organic oats, esparcetti, serradella and forage straw. Harvesting and drying are carried out in a gentle way and the whole production is based on sustainable development. The gentle drying process of the forage means low energy consumption in the drying process. The energy comes from the company's own local forests in the form of wood chips.

Large areas of land are rotated, so the raw materials used in GlyxWiese® BIO products contribute to both biodiversity and soil health. Carefully planned crop rotation greatly benefits both plant growth and the micro-organisms in the soil and air. Flowering legumes such as alfalfa, sainfoin and serradella provide an attractive nectar source for butterflies, bees and other insects, while their roots contribute to soil health by fixing nitrogen from the air and making it available to other plants in the field.

Dosage:
150-400 g per 100 August kg daily to supplement a properly proportioned roughage/pasture diet. In addition, we recommend a good quality mineral supplement such as Gemüse-Kräuter-Mineralien Nordic or SemperCube® Nordic.

SWELL BEFORE USE! Soak 1 kg GlyxWiese® BIO Luzernecobs in 1,5 - 3 litres of water. Up to 2 kg per meal (before soaking).
