Luteolin and quercetin eye drops are used both internally and externally for a variety of eye area challenges.

As a decoction and rinse, it has traditionally been used to flush crusty eyes, especially if the eyelid margins are swollen or red. Eyebright has traditionally been used in eye rinses and baths to treat eye fatigue and burning sensations. Suitable for horses whose eyes become irritated by light or wind.

    Ingredients.

    Directions for use:

Brew a tea infusion of eye grass 1-3 teaspoons per 3dl of hot water. Strain the tea through a coffee filter or a fine tea strainer. Use the cool liquid infused in the gauze on the horse's eyelids. Make sure that the gauze and your hands are clean so that you do not put any impurities in the eye.

Plant matter filtered from the brood can be fed to the horse with the feed.

    1dl per day for a 500kg horse.
