Kombi Pellets

A high-fiber, oat-free pellet feed for horses that gain weight easily and are engaged in light to moderate work.

Eggersmann Kombi Pellets is a practical pellet feed that is rich in fiber and contains the vitamins, minerals, and trace elements horses need. The feed has a moderate protein and starch content, making it particularly suitable for horses that thrive on small amounts of feed and are prone to weight gain.

A balanced calcium-to-phosphorus ratio supports overall nutritional balance. The oat-free formulation also makes this feed suitable for horses that require a calmer and more controlled energy intake.

Kombi Pellets can be fed as-is to horses engaged in light or moderate work, or mixed with grain as part of a complementary feeding regimen. If necessary, the pellets can be soaked in water, which makes them easier to eat for older horses, horses with dental problems, and fast eaters.

Feeding Recommendation

For light or moderate work, approximately 300–500 g per 100 kg of body weight per day.

For example, for a horse weighing 500 kg, the daily ration is approximately 1.5–2.5 kg.

When Kombi Pellets are used with grain, the recommended mixing ratio is 1:1. In this case, it is recommended to supplement the diet with Golden Mineral DK mineral feed.

For horses with dental problems, those that eat quickly, and older horses, the pellets can be soaked in water before serving, if necessary.
