Perfect for horses suffering from eczema, itching or with very sensitive skin. This Sweet Itch Lotion is designed to protect your horse from irritating flies and insects and prevent your horse from rubbing. To protect your horse perfectly, this halter has a neck piece that extends up to the ears.

When horses with eczema or itching sweat a lot, it can make their condition worse. The horse may experience increased itching and bacterial and fungal growth, leading to secondary infections and slowing the healing process. That's why it's important to note that the Sweet Itch Rug has a quick-drying material to ensure your horse doesn't sweat under the rug.

Fabrics and materials
The fabric is strong, breathable and very flexible to provide your horse with the best comfort. Thanks to the light colour of the fleece, it reflects the sun's rays and does not absorb heat.

Shape and size
This halter has an extra long neck which is attached over the ears, meaning that your horse's neck is also fully protected. The neck can be closed with 5 hook and loop fasteners.

To protect the belly area, the halter has a belly flap. This flap is closed by 3 straight belts. The tail flap is slightly longer than usual and has an elastic band for the tail.

The hooded Sweet Itch is available in sizes 125-165 cm.

Care guide
Machine washable:
Most of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees. However, we recommend washing as rarely as possible and using our protective wash bags to maintain quality over time. We also recommend using professional machines (higher capacity) to limit damage to the drum of a normal washing machine. Dry it by putting it outside on a sunny day. Tumble drying is not recommended.
