Why bamboo protectors?
Because Kentucky wants to be responsible, they wanted to further develop the green technology that everyone knows.
The highly breathable and well-known Kentucky 3D-spacer material, which is also used in 3D-spacer garden guards and warps, has been used in the production of tendon guards with a bamboo shell.
The durable shell is made of light, yet strong TPU, and they also have a bamboo shell at the tendons, which provides optimal protection from impacts, sharp objects, and is also antibacterial.

Shape & size
Anatomically shaped guards fit well on the horse's legs, which guarantees maximum protection and comfort.
Thanks to this, the horse has full freedom of movement, which is needed for better performances.
The soft and flexible rubber part below the joint increases the horse's comfort when moving.

Bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world, has enormous tensile strength, prevents the penetration of sharp objects and is antibacterial.
The shell of these protectors is made of strong TPU with several ventilation holes in the tendon area and a larger part of the triangle mesh material.
The area of the tendons is reinforced with a bamboo shell, which prevents penetration.
The protectors have a soft piece made of natural rubber that prevents friction in the area where the horse stretches.
The inside is reinforced with a TPU layer that can withstand hard abrasion.
Kentucky has developed its own test machine, where with a force of 80 N, the razor's sharp blade falls horizontally onto the leg of the test subject.
The bamboo shell of the protectors withstands this extreme testing method, which does not correspond to any real impact on the legs during riding.
The protectors are also Rico-tested and RCT-certified.

Washing instructions:

The covers can be machine washed at 30 degrees (no tumble drying).
We always recommend using a laundry bag to prevent scratches caused by washing.
The protectors can also be cleaned with a cleaning agent developed for TPU boots, which gives the protectors a finished look and makes them look like new.
