Scruffs Insect Shield® Doggy Bandana provides an easy way to protect yourself from embarrassing insects such as mosquitoes, flies, mites and fleas. Practical experience has shown that Insect Shield® products also repel deer flies.

The patented permethrin insect repellent is embedded in the fabric fibers of the Doggy Bandana scarf in a special Insect Shield® treatment. It does not wear out and lasts up to 25 machine washes. The scarf does not come off or is absorbed into the pet's fur, skin or bloodstream. Thanks to its safety, odorlessness and invisibility, Insect Shield® insect control is also a pleasant option indoors.

The doggy bandana, made of lightweight fabric, has collars that allow it to be threaded into the dog’s own collar. A pleasant and unobtrusive bandana to be attached to the collar follows the dog from the outside to the inside. The soiled scarf is easy to wash in the washing machine.

Permethrin fabric was originally developed for the needs of the US military, so Insect Shield® products are also safe for humans.
