Nordic Alfalfa Fiber is a gently treated alfalfa product that is rich in digestible fiber, protein and energy, as well as healthy omega 3 fatty acids from flaxseed oil. Alfalfa Fiber is ideal for sport horses, as its fiber, protein and amino acid content play a major role in the horse's muscle condition, energy and endurance. For breeding mares, foals and young horses with an increased need for important proteins and amino acids, Alfalfa Fiber is also an excellent additive that promotes good growth and proper development. In most horses, Alfalfa Fiber is preferably used as a daily supplement that provides extra fiber and prolongs the chewing time. The high protein and fiber content makes the product excellent for horses in need of weight gain and muscle mass.

Application:
Nordic Alfalfa Fiber can advantageously replace all or part of the horse's grain intake, resulting in a lower starch content in the daily feed intake. This increases durability and good performance. Fiber is an important part of a horse’s daily diet. It promotes good and healthy digestion and provides the important chewing time a horse needs to reduce the amount of stomach acid.

Storage and shelf life:
Because Nordic Horse products are 100% natural and free of additives, proper storage is important for sustainability. Nordic Alfalfa Fiber should be stored in a dry, cool place and not in direct sunlight - preferably in a closed container.

Preferably, avoid feeding the feed in the barn for a long time before use.
