Milk thistle is a liver herb that is thousands of years old. It cleanses the body and helps the liver cope with substances that burden the liver, such as drugs, pesticides, chemicals and environmental toxins. In addition, the plant helps with indigestion and stimulates milk secretion. Milk thistle is a perfect addition to the diet of old, healthy, lactating horses and horses suffering from metabolic diseases.
Nordic Horse feeding instructions:
3-5 gr per 100 kg of body weight per day
As medical treatment, 30-90 days. Or follow your vet's instructions.
Use with caution in pregnant mares. Milk thistle seed should not be fed in large quantities to pregnant mares. We recommend a maximum of 3 g per 100 kg horse
1dl= approx. 70g
Instructions for use: Mix with other feed or mix with a small amount of water and serve as is.
